I have a lot of people ask me, "What is cross training and what are the benefits"? It is basically training to increase performance by utilizing different forms of exercise. Rather than just focusing on strength training during the week, you might also do a yoga workout, a spin class, a pilates or a kickboxing class.

"I want to know how to get rid of my belly fat." This was my latest faq. Before I answer this question I want to clear up one of the biggest myths surrounding the abdominal area. Belly fat = lots and lots of sit ups. There is no such thing as spot reduction, you can not do sit ups alone to remove body fat.

Recently I had a client ask about shin splints. She wanted to start jogging, but she told me every time she tried she got shin splints. Basically shin splints is the name given for any un-diagnosable pain along the front of the leg. For most people it is a very frustrating injury because there are never very good answers associated with it.
