Most of the time when people begin an exercise program they make two crucial mistakes – they workout to often and at to high an intensity.  When you first begin your motivation and level of commitment is high, you are willing to do just about anything.  After a few sessions the will to exercise drops off a bit and the less effort you put forth and before you know it your done.

Sometimes I come across an article on a topic I want to write about.  Instead of writing the post myself I just link to the original article. This is one of those times.  Sometimes we take for granted how important sleep really is.  On average adults need about 7 hours of sleep.  Recent studies suggest that a lack of sleep is contributing to more than just or obesity rates, a variety of other major illnesses such as cancer heart disease and diabetes may be linked.  As with all other studies out there maybe this one is good maybe it isn't.  I do know how I react when I haven't had enough sleep so I tend to agree with the findings.  If you are a person that does not sleep well on a consistent basis click the link and read the article "14 Reasons You Are Not Sleeping," it might help.

What do the words I'll try mean to you when you hear them?  Twenty years ago if someone told me I'll try, I would have really believed that they would put forth their best effort.  By today's standards I believe the phrase I'll try is their way of letting me down easy.   The words maybe, might and we'll see have the exact same meaning in my opinion.  I really have no intentions of going or doing that but do not have the heart to say so.
